Lake Catchacoma
Do these colours look burnt out to you?? They do to me. All I see is a red streak across the water and red around the edges of the sun. Hopefully this will be the last photo that is ruined by my ancient laptop. I had a friend rebuild me a computer yesterday. It's nothing fancy, it's very affordable and it does come equipped with enough RAM that it will no longer take me 20 min to open and convert a RAW file. I might even be able to batch process now. There was also a sale on monitors at Futureshop. A new monitor was purchased with my magical plastic futureshop card. I love magical cards, perhaps too much. Not only did I get a new computer and a new monitor, but I was also able to return my corrupted 1GB Lexar card that crapped out on me a couple weeks ago. More then once that card had failed me; completely wiping out all my photos. Without any questions, Futureshop was willing to exchange that card. Fortunately for me though, they were out of 1GB Lexar cards. So they upgraded it to a 4GB GXT Ultra High Speed card. 4GB people... do you know how many photos that will hold.. the card says 1170. I will be testing that out this weekend. New computer, new monitor, new 4GB memory card.... life is good! Have a great weekend everyone!
