I found me a bear this weekend, and it wasn't at the zoo. The man at the dump informed us that the bears used to only come out at night, but now he sees them quite often during the day. Perhaps this is a result of all the damage caused by the storm Wednesday night, but I am thinking it's most likely caused from the continous growing population and increased expansion of cottage country. This bear was so black it was hard to expose properly. Next time I see one, I'll be sure to stand beside him to meter the light properly.
