I'm taking a little break from Tanzania photos to bring you Amsterdam. We had a stop over in Amsterdam and decided to change our flight to spend the last 2 days of our trip wandering aimlessly around the city. Well I wandered aimlessly, Aaron was the one who navigated us through the city. If it was left up to me I would have ended up lost, walking in circles. I loved Amsterdam, it was perfect way to unwind and one of the highlights of the trip. We visited the Van Gogh Museum, the Anne Frank Haus, the flower district, the shopping district, the fashion district and of course the red light district. Besides from the prostitutes hanging out in the windows beckoning both of us to come in, and the endless row of sex shops, it really isn't as seedy as you would think. It was clean, the buildings were well kept, and we saw more then one family taking a cultural walking tour along this strip.

This is a photo of Amsterdam's first coffee shop, well at least that's what the sign said. We stopped for coffee, it was delicious!

Someone mentioned to me this week that the posts that you see in the photo, which are located all down the strip, were actually shaped to look like penises, I'm not so sure, what do you think?
