See ya!
I know this photo is pretty lame, especially since it's been so long since I posted, but between finishing projects, writing exams, and preparing for our trip to Africa, I put about all the energy I had left into this. I am also changing the photo as per the request of my friend who suggested that maybe I post something else other then a photo of her kid strangling a kitty.

Aaron and I are leaving for Africa tomorrow and I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am. After surviving the hecticness of the past couple weeks, it's finally sinking in this morning. I AM GOING TO AFRICA!!!! We are flying from Toronto to Amsterdam and we'll be landing in Nairobi on Friday night. From Nairobi we take a bus to Arusha, Tanzania and from there our intinary is pretty much open. What impresses me about this photo is that including a carry-on, this is pretty much all I'm taking, minus the dog.

I wanted to say a big thanks to all my friends who helped me out over the past couple weeks. Shouts out to Laura who hooked us up with an amazing deal on the tickets. To schmee who not only lent us his data bank but was the one who initially introduced me to Aaron. I should have listened to him sooner, he's usually right about things, except when it comes to astrology, in that respect he's totally wrong. Also big thanks to JVL who is letting me park in his garage while we're gone, to Joe who made me an amazing playlist, and to Mel, Lynn and Barb via teleconference who supervised my packing last night.

Now all I need to do today is finish one last document at work, clean off my desk, turn my out-of-office on, go to the bank, and then drive to Toronto. Woohoo!!!!! I'll be back here in about a month but in the meantime, to keep my mother informed that I am still alive, I am going to attempt to write here and upload pictures here. It's not very pretty but i'll fix it when I come back. I am looking forward to sharing my photos and experience with you. Have fun, I'll be back in July!
