Shwartz's deli, famous for it's delicious smoked meat sandwiches, has to be one of the finest deli's in the entire world. Just the dining experience in itself is worth the visit. Although there are usually lineups outside to get in, it never takes to long before your quickly seated; normally in between complete strangers. The past few times I've been, there has been the same vagrant man outside, collecting change, while directing the traffic to get in. It only takes a few minutes to order as you only really have to decide between the lean, medium, or extra fatty meat, and 1 pickle or 2. The whole experience usually lasts no longer then 30 minutes before your shuffled out the door, with a pleasant after taste of fries, coleslaw, and smoked meat, that leaves you with an interesting gaseous feeling for the rest of the day. Although this girl doesn't appear too happy, I believe she's just savouring the fine taste of her delicious sandwich, or perhaps the juicy kosher pickle. If you are ever in Montreal, I highly recommend Shwartz's Hebrew Delicatessan.
