Ottawa Photoblogger Tulip Photo Competition( 05.11.06 )

I talked to some people, who talked with some people, who talked with some people, and unfortunately it is too late for the NCC to host a real photo competition. I will start much earlier on this next year. However, they are willing to feature all of our photos on their website and will include an appropriate credit and link. The top 3 photos will be listed first. So unfortunately the only prize will be recognition, and perhaps an opportunity for our photos to be used in future promotional pieces and publications. At that time, there would be compensation. If you are interested in having your photos featured on the NCC website (www.tulipfestival.ca) please e-mail your best photos to Chelsea at webmaster@tulipfestival.ca by the end of Monday, May 15th. My apologies for the short deadline, next year I will be much more organized.

I think it would be great to have some of our photos featured on the NCC website. Thanks Christina! I'll definitely submit my best ones. Too bad about the short deadline though, since it's forcasted to rain from now until May 15th.

thanx for taking the initiative on this one, anything to get our photos out there in the public eye is a good thing. i'll try to get out and take one or two before the deadline.

Let me try and see if I can get the deadline extended until the end of the week. No promises, but I will see what I can do. I look forward to all your pics.

the tulip festival is what i like to call the unofficial gathering of soccer moms and dads with their dslrs haha.
