Mel & B and a Log Skidder( 05.26.06 )

Technically not the best photo but it captures B perfectly. A day with B usually consists of either crawling through a swamp, walking up the steepest side of the mountain, trailblazing through the forest, (because taking a trail would just be boring) or jumping out of an airplane. I mean all of these quite literally. You are almost always guaranteed that he will lead you to places like this and there will be mud. He won't be the guy getting stuck in the mud, but he will be there to help pull you out. Everybody needs a friend like B, someone who is brave enough to jump in the cold lake in the pouring rain. I have a few more photos of our off-roading excursion that I will get around to posting. None that are fantastic though. That just means B is going to have to take me off-roading again soon. Do you hear that B - you, me, some mud and a swamp.

That picture just screams comroddory (sp) (you know what I mean). I just love the clarity in the background and in the action as well. People pictures are hard to capture accurately, and you seem to have a knack for it.

Ya, that's me.. I should probably be living in a shack in the middle of a swamp! For real. Off roading photos rarely turn out great, pictures almost always seem to make everything look flat, maybe you can work some of your magic and get some great pics.

Thank you for the correction Dad, I obviously learned nothing from you about machinery. Thanks for the comment Paul, but I will disagree, I think I am terrible portrait photographer. I am working on it.
