Meech Lake( 05.31.06 ) PREVIOUS :: CURRENT :: NEXT
I spend a lot of time here after work in the summers. Last night was the official start of my swimming season. I may not run, but I do swim like a fish. Unfortunately, the start of swimming season coincides with black fly season. Swarms and swarms of black flies. Our debate last night: what's worse - black flies vs. the mosquitoes. So far the black flies get my vote but I may change my mind when mosquito season officially starts.

One of these photos was accidently taken at iso 1600 and the other accidently processed in jpg. (i was very tired last night) Can you see the difference?

I like 'em both. A lot. Did you have to photoshop out some black flies?

whoa swimming season already? i'm jealous, i don't know where to find swimming in montreal (except the free pools). I used to really like lac phillipe as well. ps you never answered my email.

nice shots, i like them both, we opened the pool a couple of nights ago as well, earliest since we've had it. nice respite from this weather. i personally think mosquitos are the more annoying, their drone @ night when you're trying to sleep can be insidious. i'm going to say photo 2 was shot @ 1600, just for the richness of colour.
