Taken from on top of the queensway wall.

There are 3 people and 3 photos that I must mention today. At approx 11:15pm last night, 2 people in Ottawa, from different locations, ran outside to see if they could grab some lightening photos. Only one came back victorious. He fails to mention on his own site, but what you should know, is that he had one chance to snap this photo before his battery died. Well done Andrew, lucky bastard. :)

Then there is Schmee, I am a big fan of all his work, but this photo is definately one of my favourites.

And Ruhh, one of my former students. Ruhh gets my prize for find of the week. His catfish head is totally something I would have taken a picture of. I would like to think I taught you well young grasshoppa, but I know I had absolutely nothing to do with it. Deep down I just hope that someone actually got something out of taking one of my classes. I doubt it though. Nice find Ruhh, I look forward to more stories.

You teach? Neat! I like it when you also show off others' pictures - what a treat! Andrew, I have yet to catch lightning, let alone come close to such a beautiful shot. Christina, Schmee's photo is lovely and dreamlike, I agree. And Ruhh, it's nice to see I'm not the only one with a fondness for caterpillars and for extreme close-ups of insects.

Thanks for the mention. Two really funny things about your comment on me. The first is that you called me Grasshopper...that's actually my Native name. And the second thing is that I was just looking for my notes about quotes for web development. Yes I certainly did get something out of it. Thanks r.

Thanks for the mention! And I really like this one. A very simple photo but the focal point was chosen perfectly.
