On the way back from Mt. St. Marie( 03.05.06 )

There were many places I wanted to stop to take photos along the way, but we were too anxious to get to the hill to go boarding. What an incredible day it was... sun, beer, boarding and boyz. If you werent outside this weekend, you should have been. I wanted to stop on the way back to take photos of things I saw along the way, but I missed the good light and the blue sky. This is the result; certainly not my best photo. Life is pretty much back to normal now except that I have yet to get my computer and internet fixed. My posting might be a little sporatic over the next few days.

Ah, spending a day outside in the countryside, skiing or playing in the snow, until all energy is spent and all feeling is lost in the extremities... and to come to a nice little country house and curl up exhausted in front of a roaring fire with hot cocoa and a contented grin. That's what your beautiful picture reminds me of.

nice pic - glad you enjoyed st marie sat, i was there yesterday and it was great! i hiked through a field that looked like that on sat, along the same hwy and the snow was only waist deep in lots of places..... wwooooo
