Garages on Gladstone( 02.03.06 )

It is sometimes difficult living with someone with a common interest. We often have similar ideas. I walk by these garages almost every morning, and although I know he wanted to shoot this, I did too. He will inform you I am ripping him off today, I would like to think I merely beat him to it. Expect a similar photo on his site in the near future, but probably done better.

Hahah .. Ryan and I are the same. He doesn't have a site and I have a really good POUT so I usually win and get the shot. ;) I've often seen these garages when I've walked down this street .. it's so bizarre because I don't see it anywhere else in Ottawa, just there.

Nice work! Beat him to the punch eh? I like the tones in this shot. The slightly desaturated feel is great. Well composed as well.

Haha. It can also be a good thing. You have someone who is understanding of your equipment needs. No need to justify a new lens or speedlight.
