Rideau Canal( 01.09.06 )

It was the opening weekend of the canal and the conditions were pretty rough. My intention was to stand near a big crack in the ice and capture candid photos of people falling. I know that doesn't sound very nice but it could have made for some funny photos. Then I saw her smiling for me. Technically it's not one of my better photos, but she is way too cute for me not to post.

Great photo! I like the soft look of and the colours are great. Only a kid can get away with that colour sceme

The soft focus works really well here. Red, yellow and blue in the one shot, all bright and very striking. Great shot.
