Construction( 12.07.05 ) PREVIOUS :: CURRENT :: NEXT
Construction is everywhere in this city. I took this photo looking down in a big hole through this fence. I am somewhat impressed with the way it turned out. I was attracted to the colours and the texture of the wall in the background and wanted to see if I could somehow make this shot work. It's not too bad.

In other news... 2 of my photos are featured today in DOSE as Seen in the City. I encourage more of you to submit photos. You can do that here. These photos are the first thing I look at in the morning and it's usually the same people who submit. It would be nice to see a variety.

Awhile back on this site, (you can read that here) we were discussing the legal rights of photographers taking pictures in public places that are supposedly prohibited. This morning I came aross "Are We Not Men?" an interesting article/debate pertaining to this subject. It's worth the read.

Congrats on getting your photos published in Dose, Christina! I tried submitting some photos before, but the website's interface is so ugly I gave up. I can't navigate through that horrible website!!

This is sooo cool. The backdrop resembles a dark textured sky in an old photo, or the backdrop of a huge movie set. Very very cool!

I was in Ottawa for a few days, and while walking by this, I stopped to check it out and thought "Hey, this looks familiar."
